Birth Preparation Group Course (Face to Face) October 2026.

£245.00

Sundays 11th, 18th & 25th October 10:00 - 12:30

Tell Tales Books, Padgate, Warrington.

My Birth Preparation Course is a full antenatal education programme designed to help you feel informed, supported and genuinely prepared for birth and early parenthood, not just told what might happen.

Across 3 relaxed, in depth sessions, we’ll cover the physiology of birth, practical comfort techniques and hypnobirthing tools, whilst also exploring your choices, rights and how to confidently navigate the maternity system. We’ll talk honestly about induction, caesarean birth, interventions, decision making and advocacy, so you can approach birth feeling empowered rather than overwhelmed.

We also focus on the things many parents tell me they weren’t prepared for. Partner support and how to work as a team in labour, creating the right birth environment, understanding newborn behaviour, feeding in the early days, protecting bonding and recovery, and what life can really feel like during the fourth trimester.

This course is midwife led, evidence based and completely judgement free. This isn’t about creating a “perfect” birth plan, it’s about helping you understand your options, feel confident in your decisions and know how to advocate for yourself whatever direction your journey takes.

Perfect for first time parents or anyone wanting a more personalised, supportive approach to birth preparation.
